Deal Leaders International facilitates global mining supply company ME Elecmetal’s acquisition of the PRIMA Foundry, one of Africa’s leading foundries. 

We are proud to have played a key role in making the acquisition of South Africa’s Prima Foundry by ME Elecmetal possible. 

  

This was no ordinary deal – it took tenacity, deep strategic thinking, and an unwavering focus on finding a perfect match. ME Elecmetal, a Chilean company with over a century of experience in the mining industry, had never invested in South Africa before. But we saw a unique opportunity to align their global growth strategy with PRIMA’s position as a key player in the mining supply chain. â€‹

Managing a deal with different cultures, time differences and language barriers added another layer of complexity, however our team, led by Deal Executive Janine Wright, successfully navigated these challenges. 

  

From cultural compatibility to long-term vision alignment, this acquisition wasn’t just about financials. We worked hard to ensure a perfect fit between the people and values of both companies.
